| When I decided to sell my home in Imagination Farms, I had already been aware of the remarkable success of Ski's real estate dealings. Many of my friends and neighbors over the previous several years consistently remarked about his handling of their home sales. When I was ready, I called Ski and he came to my business to discuss listing my home with him. I had already met with other realtors and was not satisfied with any of them. Mr. Zielinski was prompt, genuine and professional. I signed the listing agreement and within an hour or so, my wife called me from home telling me that she had several people walking around our home and knocking on the door. Admittedly Imagination Farms is a very desirable community, but within ONE HOUR? I called Ski again and asked him to meet with me at home later that evening for his professional advice on what my wife and I could do to increase our chances for a quick sale and attain a reasonable offer. We walked through my home and Ski offered several recommendations. One was to upgrade my kitchen counter tops to granite, the other to remove a built-in wall unit in the master bedroom which I designed and built for both aesthetics and office space with a desk and accommodating cabinet space to hide files, computers and printers. Mr. Zielinski was polite and gracious and made the recommendation that I remove the wall unit as his experience had shown that office space in a master bedroom would most likely deter potential buyers. I took his advice and made both recommended changes and began showing my home within a couple of weeks. To my amazement, I received three offers the very first day of showing and a bidding war began. I ended up accepting one of the offers, which was $62,500 MORE than the list price. This is NOT to say that Ski under priced my home, he did not! The appraisal came in within a few thousand dollars of his suggested list price. I was so impressed with Mr. Zielinski's diligence and continued support throughout the entire process (from listing to closing) that I listed my other home with him last year (2012) and received the same professional and genuine service expected. My last home was sold within a month by Ski, something I hadn't seen much of with the real estate market the way it is today. Thank you Ski! I will be calling him soon to find a new home for me. |
